Our primary goal is to help connect people to where their food is grown. For that reason, we offer a variety of canned products (pickles, sauerkraut, spaghetti sauce, and more), eggs, and meat (lamb, beef, chicken) grown on our small farm. We are not certified organic; however, we strive not to use chemicals or synthetic fertilizers (manure only). Animals are grass-fed and grain finished, with the feed being sourced locally. Cattle are moved in a rotational grazing system to let the grass rest for a few weeks during the growing period.
We offer beef sold by the quarters and lambs sold as half or wholes, along with USDA cuts of lamb (burger, chislic, chops, brats). Laying hens get to free range during the day and the broiler chickens are usually moved daily onto grass via a ‘chicken tractor.’ You can also find us at the Huron and Brookings Farmers Markets.
